Jack Lowman
Jack founded Hack Yourself in 2017, and is an experienced course director, speaker, facilitator, and coach.
Passionate about giving people the skills and opportunities to thrive, Jack has held senior positions across charity, public and private sectors, including at The Prince's Trust, where he led the marketing and digital department.
Jack is a course director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a leadership tutor for the Data and Marketing Association and has developed the teams of some of the world's biggest brands.

How much does it cost?Our team development programmes are tailored to your needs. To give you an accurate quote, we’ll ask a few quick questions, like your team size, location, and whether you want to put a whole team through the programme, or a cohort of managers or emerging managers. Once we’ve got the basics, we’ll put together a clear, no-obligation proposal with transparent pricing. We offer charity and non-profit discounts, and also discounts if you have worked with us before or want to book mulitiple services. We'll always do what we can to make it affordable.

Is it suitable for hybrid or remote teams?Yes. Hack Yourself's Skills Lab is built to flex – whether you’re remote, hybrid or in-person. Sessions can be delivered in any format and still feel energising, engaging and relevant. We typically like to do three in-person sessions, mixed with live online masterclasses, however we can meet you where you are - online, in-person or even on-demand if you prefer.

How much of a time investment is the team development programme?It’s designed to flex around your people and your goals, but the most popular format is a mix of in-person and digital. The core of the programme is three flagship, full-day training courses delivered in person. These are supported by two high-impact masterclasses (each around 1.5 to 2 hours), plus two on-demand sessions that can be completed in just over an hour. Finally, there’s a two-hour group coaching session to bring it all together. We also provide optional reading recommendations and resources to learn outside of the Skills Lab. So, across the whole programme, you’re looking at roughly four to five full days of commitment spread across 3, 6 or 12 months.

How can I develop my managers?Your managers often set the pace, energy and culture for the whole team. They’re the bridge between strategy and action. The ones people turn to when things go wrong. And yet, most managers are thrown into the role with zero support or training. No training. No reset. Just a new job title and a pile of expectations. That’s a problem. Because leadership isn’t about having the answers. It’s about communication, decision-making, empathy, clarity, boundaries, self-awareness... stuff we don’t teach enough. And when managers miss out on that learning, their teams feel it. If you want to build a strong team, starting with your managers is a really good approach. But... we advise choosing the development wisely, as there is a lot of outdated and traditional training that just isn't current enough or practical enough.
